The difference between it and other trends, however, is that denim by itself is a classic wardrobe staple — typically in the form of jeans, true, but now designers are taking the fabric to a whole new level.

You may find yourself falling in love with a button down denim dress, for instance, or even a jumpsuit (though in all good conscience, I can’t really recommend that; no matter what the fabric, jumpsuits rarely work well. For anyone). Dungarees are all the rage — and of course jeans and shorts will still be a denim staple.
