We all know that in the fall and winter months, they are full of grays, blacks and a lot of white, however – the one thing that they are not going to be filled with is chunky knits.  While I have not always been a fan of the knit in fashion, it seems that the runway is going to be filled with everything from knit dresses all the way to knit scarves.

The great thing about this trend?  Your grandmother can finally knit you that sweater and you can finally wear it and be fashionable!  The color doesn’t matter, however the way that it looks and the overall appeal of the clothing is very, very important – you want the knitting to be chunky, not fine knitting.

Remember chunky knitting – it’s the latest and greatest trend for the fall and winter months.  It will not only keep you warm, but I can promise that you will look awesome!

When I think of David Jones, this is a designer that I do not incorporate Miranda Kerr into – this particular model is a Victoria’s Secret model and it is not usually in my nature to think that respected designers like David Jones would want a model like that … however, the Spring/Summer collection for 2009/2010 included Miranda and I have to say that I was definitely surprised and she looked beautiful.

The runway seems to be made for this little blonde bombshell as she seems to be popping up everywhere and anywhere.  David Jones is not the first designer to work with this particular model and while I do not think that I would want to work with her, she is definitely cute and certainly seems to fit into the clothing very well.

David Jones is one of those designers that is going to be hot and while this is one of the many collections he is spawning, he is going to be huge – I just know it!

Fashion is something that is very fickle and different every single day of your life.  The trends in fashion are things that change every single day and while I think that some days I might have a handle on them, the trends change all over again – for example, the ripped up stocking trend is one fashion trend that I did not expect to come back, however – here it is, being seen in places like Denmark on all sorts of different celebrities.

The great thing about ripped up stockings is that you can wear them with anything at all – whether you want to pair them with your little black dress or you want to just put them under a denim skirt – they look good with anything and everything really!

Another cool fact – they actually look fantastic with boots as well.  Whether you are looking at pairing them with booties or knee-highs, ripped stockings are hot!
